We had guests in town who were all looking for something different so we came to kitchen bar because they have such a large and varied menu. Sure enough everyone found something to eat and everyone was well satisfied. The beet salad was excellent as we're the brussel sprouts. the side of butternut squash risotto what reasonably priced and a nice portion size. The salmon was perfectly cooked. Farro and roasted vegetables looked delicious too. they only serve ice cream for dessert which is kind of weird and we didnt care to try it on such a cold night
I deleted one star because the bus boy came around to collect a plates before everybody was finished eating and at a nice restaurant like this, that is one of my big pet peeves. It makes the last people eating feel very uncomfortable. -

I went just for drinks, and it seems like a comfortable place in a great neighborhood.
But they charge tax on drinks.
Note to KG: Don't do that. -

Great place right over the Pawtucket line. The menu is a bit fancy, both in price and meal make up. There are dinner specials based on the day. Good place for a date or a nicer group dinner.

We enjoyed this restaurant last Friday evening and had a wonderful dining experience. We were promptly seated and well attended by our server, who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their cuisine. We had their calamari "small plate " which actually was not small at all! It made a wonderful appetizer for two, and if you have a salad or soup with it you could really call it a light dinner. It had crunchy Rhode Island squid, black olives, arugula, banana pepper, and a spicy tomato aioli--finger-licking good! Went down well with a California Pinot. And for the main course, we had their seared scallops special, with a medley of acorn squash purée, roasted parsnips and turnips, glazed cranberry and a cranberry gastrique which I had never tasted before. Very memorable and satisfying! We have also previously enjoyed their creative signature cocktails. This is a gem in the Hope street village of the east side of Providence with an elegant but casual ambiance that you must experience.

Good brunch spot on Hope street (previously kitchen bar, now kg kitchen). Guess they redesigned the interiors and made it more spacious and brighter. Good number of healthy options on the menu, also some veggie items. Got the huevos rancheros which was pretty good. Tastes better with Tabasco. Good cocktail list. Overall good experience.
